What should you look for when choosing a playpen mattress?

Playpens are spaces where babies sleep and play during the day. The thin base pad supplied with most playpens does not provide enough support for extended sleep. Adding a correctly sized mattress with the right firmness is therefore decisive for your baby's sleep quality.

The right size: 60x120 or 70x110?

The majority of playpens sold in Türkiye have an internal size of 60x120 cm or 70x110 cm. We recommend measuring the internal base dimensions of your playpen with a tape measure before purchasing. Leaving no gap between the edges of the mattress and the playpen wall is important so that the baby's arm or leg cannot become trapped.

Why does firmness matter?

baby'ness playpen mattresses are made with high-density filling, giving a structure that holds its shape and does not sink excessively under the baby's weight. The soft, comfortable filling lets the baby turn easily.

Cleaning and care

• The quilted outer surface is liquid-proof; a damp cloth is enough for daily cleaning.
• Cleaners containing bleach or solvents can damage the surface and should not be used.
• The mattress is not suitable for machine washing; using a washable protector on top is recommended.
• After wiping, allow the mattress to dry completely and do not place it in the playpen while damp.
• Storing the product flat and unfolded helps it keep its shape.
